You are becoming and more of your own individual person by the day. No longer simply an extension of me, you have your own demands, likes and dislikes. You like bath time and being around people; you like story hour at the library, playing paddy cake, this little piggy and peek-a-boo; you like Effy, Grandmommy, Jamie and so many others; you like snuggling, playing with my hair, and splashing in the tub; you like walks in the stroller and the song row-row-row-your-boat. You dislike squash that is too stringy and rice cereal that is too thick; playing alone for more than 15 minutes, being dressed and having your diaper changed. You are not one to rush in or out of sleep and prefer transitions to be slow and smooth. You are so proud when you hold your own weight with straight, strong legs and a puffed out chest, and get such a kick out of seeing your reflection in the mirror.
You are my marvelous, beautiful baby girl.
